Morris is our little sleepy queen!

Morris has come back into rescue through absolutely no fault of her own, and we are determined to find her the forever home she deserves this time around.

She is honestly one of the sweetest little goofballs you’ll ever meet. The kind of dog who meets you and somehow manages to melt your heart and put a smile on your face without even trying.

Morris was born around 1 June 2026 in a pretty big litter of eight. Mum is a Beardie cross and Dad is unknown, so we expect Morris will grow into a medium to large-sized girl.

She is currently fostered in Muriwai, Auckland, alongside four other dogs, chickens, sheep and lambs. Rural life really suits this girl. She absolutely loves being outside, wandering around and checking out what’s happening, but she is never far away when it’s time for cuddles.

And cuddles are definitely one of her favourite things.

Morris loves her crate and happily takes herself off to bed, sleeping right through the night like the good girl she is.

Because she would much rather be outside than inside, she is still having the occasional toilet accident indoors. Her leash training is also a work in progress, as living rurally means she hasn’t had much exposure to the hustle and bustle of city life.

For Morris, we think the perfect home would be a rural or semi-rural one, ideally with another dog or dogs for company. Somewhere she can have space to explore, a doggy friend to hang out with and a family who will give her the time and patience to keep learning.

Every person Morris meets seems to fall a little bit in love with her. You simply cannot look at that gorgeous goofy face without wanting to give her a big smooch.

If you are ready to give this beautiful girl the loving home she has been waiting for, please get in touch.
