He takes everything in his stride and is happy to go with the flow, whether that's hanging out with his people, playing with his toys, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by. He has a wonderfully calm nature that's impossible not to love.
 
Don't let his laid-back personality fool you though—Ernest still has his playful puppy moments and loves a good game when the mood strikes. He's also not afraid to have a little chat and will happily let you know when it's time for attention!
 
Currently being fostered in Kumeū, Auckland, Ernest is learning all about the world around him. He's working on his recall and is eager to learn with plenty of praise, patience, and a few tasty treats.
 
Ernest gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves people. He hasn't met children or cats yet, but at his young age, he'll adapt well with gentle introductions and positive guidance.
 
Ernest is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, though his breed mix is unknown.
