Itsy Bitsy Betsy…

This little pocket rocket is just so much fun. She is constantly getting up to something and has her foster mum in fits on a regular basis. She may be tiny, but she has absolutely no shortage of personality.

We’ve also discovered that Betsy is a little older than we originally thought, so we’re putting her date of birth at around 13 August 2026.

And now it’s time for this little girl to find an active family who can keep up with all her antics.

Betsy is doing really well with her crate training. She happily settles down for the night, snuggled up with her teddy and hot water bottle, and she has had zero accidents in her crate.

She’s also doing a great job with her toileting and will take herself outside when she needs to go. Clever little thing.

Itsy Bitsy Betsy will need an older dog in her forever home to help show her how to dog. She absolutely loves hanging out with one of the resident dogs in her foster home and is learning that when the big dogs say they’ve had enough, we need to respect their boundaries.

She hasn’t come across cats yet, so she is currently untested, but she is young enough to learn.

Betsy is still too young for leash training, but she is doing really well with her recall and engagement. She’s a bright little girl who loves being involved and is always ready to see what’s happening next.

As for her breed…

We have absolutely no idea.

She’s confusing us all!

She’s definitely a Rescue Special, but exactly what went into making this little pocket rocket is anyone’s guess.

Betsy is currently fostered in Kumeū, Auckland, and her adoption will need to be Auckland based.

Her adoption fee includes her desexing when she is ready, all vaccinations, microchip, up-to-date flea and worm treatment, her favourite teddy, blankie, a week’s supply of her food and a one-off training consultation.
