Ada, aka the sock monster, is on the hunt for her forever family—and she promises to steal your heart (and maybe your socks too ).
She is the sweetest, bravest wee girl with the most beautiful personality. Currently fostered on a farm in Muriwai alongside three other dogs, chickens and sheep, Ada has grown into a confident and curious little explorer. She loves discovering the world around her… as long as she knows exactly where her humans are at all times.
Ada is wonderfully settled for a young pup. She is crate trained and sleeps a solid 12 hours through the night, with a few good naps during the day to recharge. After a run around outside, she’s happiest stretched out in the sun with her favourite sock in tow.
She already has good recall, can sit on command (most of the time ), and is nearly there with her toilet training. She’s eager to learn, food motivated, and absolutely thrives on love and attention.
Ada adores other dogs and is comfortable around farm animals like chickens and sheep. She loves children and would make a beautiful family companion. She hasn’t met cats yet, but being so young, she can learn with the right guidance.
She will grow into a medium-to-large dog, with a lovely mix of Fox Terrier, Staffy and Rottweiler—full of personality, loyalty and affection.
Ada is looking for a home where she can be part of the family, continue learning, and stay close to her people.
She will be desexed when she is old enough and comes fully set up for her new life—vaccinated (parvo, lepto and KC), microchipped and registered on NZCAR, with up-to-date flea and worm treatments.
Her adoption also includes a week of her food, her collar, harness and lead, her blankie, her favourite toy… and most importantly, her.
Currently fostered in Muriwai, Auckland. If you’re ready for a loyal little shadow, a cuddle buddy, and a part-time sock thief… Ada is ready to meet you.
