Home Recommendation: Needs the guidance from older dogs who will continue teaching him about doggy manners, lots of safe space to run off all that puppy energy.
Kids: Humphrey is not the sort of puppy who wants to be dressed up and sit on your lap to watch movies, he would much rather be outside romping with the big dogs and big kids then collapsing inside on your lap from exhaustion.
Crate Trained: Happily sleeps in his crate as long as it’s next to his mates.
Toilet Trained: If it’s raining, totally forget it, Humphrey thinks the rain is an evil force out to drown him. As long as he has access to outside he will happily take himself out but does need reminding when the excitement levels are high.
Dogs: Loves the big dogs and will happily spend all his time with them, he thinks his siblings are pretty boring and annoying. Listens well to the bigger dogs which is what our Humpty Dumpty needs.
Leash Manners: Humphrey has been free ranging, would rather ride on the back of the big dogs or be carried up the hill when his little legs get tired.
His quirks: Humphrey is the smallest of his litter but with the bravest personality. A leaf blowing on the ground, it’s ok Humphrey will get it. A cow in the distance, don’t worry Humphrey will bark at it then hide behind your legs. Humphrey will never starve in the wild, if there is food he will make sure he gets it. Humphrey loves to cuddle into your neck and nibble on your ears but not for long, there’s too much to explore, but when the day is done and the excitement of the day has all been too much Humphrey will curl up on your lap with the sweetest baby snores and dream of his next adventure. Highly recommend puppy school.
